About NAIN
BECOME A MEMBER OF NAIN

You are warmly invited to apply for membership in NAIN - North American Interfaith Network. The voting members of NAIN are organizations, but we also urge individuals to become Friends of NAIN, which you can do by clicking here.

Your organization’s application for membership will be reviewed promptly by the board, and you will be notified of your acceptance by email. NAIN is North America’s oldest grassroots interfaith community, and we are interested in being connected with the interreligious activities in neighborhoods everywhere. Thanks for being interested and applying! Your application should describe your organization and its mission and note how it fits NAIN’s membership criteria (see below).

NAIN Mission Statement
NAIN builds communication and mutual understanding among interfaith organizations and diverse religious groups throughout North America. Without infringing on the effort of existing organizations, NAIN facilitates the networking possibilities of these organizations and encourages cooperative interaction based on serving the needs and promoting the aspirations of all member groups. (Nov. 15, 2002)

NAIN Membership Criteria
NAIN's membership is comprised of interfaith organizations and agencies, interfaith relations programs and offices of religious, denominational and other appropriate institutions in the United States, Mexico and Canada. It seeks to affirm humanity's diverse and historic spiritual resources and bring these to bear on contemporary global, national, regional and local issues. *From NAIN Bylaws.

Benefits of Membership
Friends and representatives from NAIN’s membership gather in a “Connect” each summer to share stories, hear new ideas, and keep long-term friendships vital. Members each have a vote at annual meeting and elections. An electronic newsletter goes to members and friends. Participation means being woven into a web of local-global relationships focused on interreligious bridge-building and friendship. If that is important to you, please get involved!

Membership Dues

$75 US per year for local and regional interfaith or interfaith-involved organizations
$125 US per year for national and international organizations

After receiving your membership dues for a year, you will be given a password and identification name to allow access to our exciting new member-interactive site: NAINonline.
