Theme: Multifaith Challenges We Face
INTERGENERATIONAL INTERFAITH LEARNING

WORKSHOP SUMMARY
On the path to interfaith understanding and peace-building, the older generation needs to be able to ‘hand the torch for peace’ to young people as they prepare to become interfaith leaders for the 21st century. In this workshop, members of the the older and younger generations gather to learn from each other. A DVD featuring the peace-building works of both generations will be shown, followed by a World Cafe discussion where we will share our own experiences. Prabha Duneja will open the session and Kristina Seher will lead the discussion that follows, featuring three young adults, Christopher Dodge, Philaine-Fleischman, and Kazue Nojima

PRESENTERS
Prabha Duneja and Kristina Seher

Prabha Duneja, raised in India’s Punjab, travels the world today as a writer, translator, and teacher of Hinduism. She is the Founder and President of the Geeta Society, and her work has been praised by academicians and leaders from the Vedanta Society. Over a dozen books and CDs extend her wise influence. Her meditation workshop at NAINConnect in Richmond last year was so well received that it was repeated.

Kristina Seher, a member of the Unification Church, is a founding member of Women’s Federation for World Peace – US, and chairs the organization Northern California Chapter. She is Principal at The Principled Academy, a private liberal arts school focused on character education.
